I found Oola when I was in a really low spot in my life, with a lot of health challenges for my parents, stresses of raising two young daughters and my husband and I not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things. I read the book Oola for Women by Dr. Dave and Dr. Troy, and I felt like they were sitting with me, talking right to me. I started following them on Facebook and knew I needed to learn more about Oola.
I went to my first Oolapalooza event in Minneapolis, MN, and my life was forever changed. Dr. Dave helped me find gratitude for valuing every second with my family, as we watched my Dad decline with myelofibrosis, a rare blood cancer, and leave us to take his place in Heaven. Having faith and finding gratitude in every day, no matter what challenges life throws at us has really made the biggest impact on my life through the lens of Oola.
Since Oolapalooza 2017, I have attended 2 more Oolapaloozas as well as the first Oola Global Convention with family. I have shared Oola through Oola University prior to becoming an Oola certified life coach, Dreams in Action teen life coaching based on the Oola framework, book study with Oola for Christians and weekly zooms with fellow Oola coaches. By profession, I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist, and have been working in public schools for 17 years.
I now have my private practice to provide speech-language therapy services and Oola life coaching. Oola is woven into the fabric of my life every day, and I love to share how it has changed my life and help others see their God given potential and believe in themselves!!
In my personal life, I have suffered with depression and anxiety since I was a young person. Self-sabotage has been my biggest blocker to making progress on my dreams. I am married to a wonderful man, John, who is a great provider to our family and loves to do projects around our house and our properties in Grand Marais, MI.
I have 2 teenage daughters, who are beautiful, talented, funny girls who support and love people. I am so grateful to be able to share Oola with them too, so that they are able to see their potential as young women. We also have 2 Beagles, Snicker and Oliver and one 3% Beagle, Evie, who keep us on our toes! We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, near the shore of Lake Superior.
I can’t wait for this group to get started and for YOU to see your potential and learn how Oola can impact your life in a positive way! “It’s a system, NOT a secret!”
Be Grateful, Have Faith, Live Oola
